By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to the Terms of Service and all applicable licensing agreements.

2. General Conduct Standards
You agree to use the Platform in a lawful, respectful, and professional manner.
You may not engage in behavior that:
Is deceptive, abusive, or harassing
Interferes with Platform operations
Exploits or harms other users
Circumvents licensing or payment systems
3. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, submit, message, or distribute content that:
Infringes intellectual property rights
Is defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading
Promotes hate, violence, or discrimination
Is pornographic or sexually explicit
Encourages illegal activity
Contains malware or malicious code
Motor City Sync reserves the right to remove such content without notice.
4. Intellectual Property Abuse
You may not:
Upload content you do not own or control
Misrepresent authorship or ownership
Attempt to license content without authority
Re-upload licensed content outside permitted use
Scrape, download, or redistribute content without authorization
Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
5. Messaging, Pitching, and Negotiation Conduct
The Platform provides messaging and pitching tools to facilitate professional collaboration.
You may not:
Spam creators or licensors
Send unsolicited promotional messages unrelated to a project or scene
Harass, threaten, or pressure other users
Attempt to move negotiations off-platform to avoid fees or tracking
Use messaging for phishing or solicitation
Motor City Sync may monitor messaging activity for compliance and abuse prevention.
6. Pricing Manipulation and Bad-Faith Negotiation
You may not:
Misrepresent budgets or intent
Engage in sham negotiations
Attempt to coerce creators into unpaid use
Repeatedly request free or “exposure-only” licenses
Circumvent established pricing or licensing structures
Negotiation tools are intended for good-faith discussions only.
7. Account Integrity and Security
You may not:
Share accounts improperly
Access accounts without authorization
Impersonate another user or entity
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Platform
Attempt to bypass security controls or restrictions
You are responsible for activity conducted by any user you authorize.
8. Platform Abuse and Circumvention
You may not:
Reverse engineer or copy Platform functionality
Scrape data, audio, or metadata at scale
Use the Platform to compete directly with Motor City Sync
Bypass licensing, exclusivity, or access controls
Remove or obscure attribution requirements
9. Enforcement and Moderation
Motor City Sync reserves the right to take action, including:
Content removal
Feature restrictions
Account suspension
Account termination
Revocation of licenses for material breach
Referral to legal authorities where appropriate
Enforcement actions may be taken without prior notice, depending on severity.
10. Reporting Violations
Users may report suspected violations through:
Platform reporting tools
Support contact channels
Reports should include:
Relevant links
Usernames
Description of the issue
False or abusive reports may themselves constitute a violation.
11. No Waiver
Failure by Motor City Sync to enforce this policy in one instance does not waive the right to enforce it in the future.
12. Changes to This Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
